 Sometimes people can be very hateful when they see you looking for water because they've been so comfortable living in the drought that they don't understand why you can't just be thirsty the way everybody else is thirsty but something down on the inside of you knows that there is a well available to you.

  The truth is that most of us find it difficult to focus on the Lord. The reason is that we do not know the benefits of doing so. When we know and understand the benefits of focusing on our heavenly Father, we will shift our focus from everything that is happening around us to God. What Does it Mean to Focus on God? To focus on God means to consciously direct our thoughts and desires towards our heavenly Father. It means looking at life through the lens of Christ. And choosing to look up to him and trust him regardless of what is happening around us. Spiritual growth and stability For my part, I struggle with stability. THURSDAY PRAYER

 Father, we come before you this day, and we thank you for being a lamp onto our feet. Your word says the steps of a righteous man are ordered by You. And so, father, we ask that you order our steps in every decision that we make today. Lord, we submit our plans to you. We submit our decisions to you. And Lord we ask that you help us by your spirit to hear Your voice that we may not follow those that are contrary to You. Lord, we thank you today for daily provision, we thank you today for daily direction. Lead us by Your spirit and lead us by your way. Lead us into your truth. Lord, we submit all of our plans, and we know that You are able to lead us, guide us and direct us as we seek You and seek Your will. We thank you today, Father, in Jesus name we pray. Amen!
